There is nothing she loved more than her family, and no one ever left her home hungry. It didn't matter if one stopped in for 5 minutes or 3 hours, she would offer whatever food she had. Some family favorite dishes were her rhubarb cobbler, batter buns, and holiday nut horns. There wasn't anything she couldn't cook.
When she wasn't in the kitchen, she could be found quilting--a long family tradition, crocheting, reading, watching her favorite soaps, or helping her husband with activities around the house.
She passed away just a couple of weeks before their 65th anniversary, and her husband joined her in Heaven 6 months later.
