Kipp, Myrna E. "Mikki" 84, was born in Queens, NY and was adopted at the age of four and lovingly raised by Leland S. and Nettie L. Fox in S. Apalachin, NY. Mikki was predeceased by her parents Leland and Nettie Fox, husband Wesley A. Kipp and son David K. Kipp. She is survived by her children Anita Lecroix, LaCresenta, CA, Charles J. Kipp (Naoma), Baltimore, MD, Sandra (Howard) Allen, Apex, NC, Lanny (Debbie) Kipp, Vestal, NY, and daughter-in-law Dana Kipp. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and many good friends. Mikki was always the care giver, providing end of life support to husband Wes, parents, aunts, in-laws, neighbors and strangers. She worked tirelessly for many hours as a volunteer for Family & Childrens', Hospice, the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad and Rape Crisis Center. She and Wes enjoyed being members of several organizations including the Winabago "Winnie's", square dancing, league tennis and ski patrol, just to name a few. They traveled many miles in the "Winnie" making life-long friends along the way. The last six years of Mikki's life were spent at Good Shepherd Village in Endwell. She had the distinction of being the first resident admitted to the memory care unit. The care and love she received at Good Shepherd was exceptional. She made many friends among staff and residents. Truth be told the love she received from the staff at Good Shepherd was by far the greatest part of the care. The family will receive friends Monday, May 30, 2016, at the Barber Memorial Home, 428 Main St., Johnson City, NY from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., Riverside Cemetery, Marshland Rd, Apalachin, NY. A luncheon, celebrating Mikki's life will begin at noon, The Old Union Hotel, 246 Clinton St., Binghamton, NY. It is the family's wish that in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Good Shepherd Community Foundation, 32 Village Dr., Endwell, NY 13760.
