Last Rites Held for Benjamin A. Abrams
Widely Known Citizen Dies At Home In City
Benjamin Alexander Abrams, 78, widely known Lawrenceburg man, died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday at his home on Deller Street after a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at Coleman Memorial Methodist Church of which he was a member, with the Rev. John M. Williams officiating and burial was in Mimosa cemetery with Freemon Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Abrams was a native of Wayne County but moved to this city to make his home 32 years ago. He owned and operated a bakery here until ill health had forced his retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cenith Abrams and four sons.
