Janie Sue (Clay) Haggard-Goins, born to predeceased Quinton Clay and Eleanor Greer in Knoxville, TN on October 29, 1944, passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 78. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church-Halls. She was along-time employee of Levi Strauss and Bike Athletic.

Preceded in death by husband, Eugene Goins; sons, Stephen Goins and Ronnie Goins; grandson, Victor Clay Haggard; brother Walter Clay.

Left to mourn her loss are son, Victor Haggard, daughters, Ella Williams and Tammy Finch (Matthew); grandchildren Gary Cooper, Janna Cooper, Daniel Haggard, Alexis Williams, Savannah Williams, and several step grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Dixie Cooper and William Victor Haggard; sisters Sarah Cunningham and Betty Clay, several nieces and nephews; her UPS/A-Team family, and numerous others who called her 'Mom.' Special thank you to UT Hospice care and Ronnie Cantrell for your comfort during her illness.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Monday, April 10, 2023, at Rose Funeral & Cremation-Broadway. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm.
