A Prominent Churchwoman. Bevier felt the loss of this Good Woman after she passed away. She came to Macon County, Missoui in about 1865 from Ohio. Her folks immigrated from Wales in about 1830. She married Rev. George M. Jones who was born in Wales, immigrated in about 1851 to Ohio. They had 5 boys. Elsie was widowed in 1882 with a family to provide for, she fixed her faith more firmly upon the Father of the fatherless and the good and useful life she has led has borne testimony to the steadfastness of that faith.
