Walter "Sonny" Clark, 71, Pendleton, passed away, November 4, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He was born, September 14, 1945 in Anderson, and resided most of his life in Pendleton.
Sonny graduated from Pendleton High School in 1963.
He was retired from the Anderson Police Department in 1988 after 20 years of service. He previously worked for Ed Martin, Oldsmobile, Cadillac.
He served his country in the Vietnam War as a Marine.
He was a member of East Side Church of God, Anderson, the F.O.P., Anderson and the co-founder of the PAL CLUB in Anderson.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Stephanie Clark, of Pendleton; son, Kevin (Tawnya) Clark of Fishers; daughter, Sophia Clark, Pendleton; grandchild, Charlie Thomas of Fishers; cousins, Jim (Linda) Jordan of Anderson, Betty Lou Andis of Washington, Indiana, Delores (Carl) Glascock of Goergia and Sonny Taylor of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by mother, Helen Bennett.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November, 8, 2016 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November, 9, 2016, at the funeral home with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating.
Military Rites will be performed by the Daleville American Legion Post.
There will be a Police Honor Guard at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.
Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Church of God.
