Norwich - John N. "Jack" Avdevich, 69, died Thursdsday, Nov. 10, 2016.
Born in Norwich August 13, 1947 he was the son of Gladys (Nylen) Avdevich of Norwich and the late John Avdevich. During the late 70s and early 80s Jack served as a Norwich police officer and worked over 20 years as a security officer at Foxwoods where he proudly wore badge #1.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Brewester's Neck Cemetery, Route 12, Preston.
