Mrs. Israel was born in Holland, July 31, 1887, the daughter of Isaac Fremouw and Suzanne de Kramer.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac; three sons, John, Elmer and Walter, all of Newark; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Nary of Newark and Mrs. Isaac Van Gee, Jr. of Sodus; two brothers, Isaac Fremouw of Sodus and Jacob Fremouw of Holland, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Van Der Lyke of Lyons; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Israel was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sodus.
Funeral services will be held at the Schulz Funeral Chapel, South Main Street, at 2 p.m. tomorrow, with Rev. J. J. Fryling, pastor of the Arcadia Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
