Kerry Ralph Modisette was born on April 25, 1947 to Finis Melvin and Nellie Gay Patterson Modisette in Springhill, LA and passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Haynesville, LA.
He was a lifelong resident of this area, was a member of the Baptist faith and was retired from the Timber Industry.
He is survived by two sons, Allen Modisette and his fiance', Ticia of Marshall, TX; Kevin Modisette of Shongaloo, LA; daughter, Karen Guidroz and husband, Jermiah of Erath, LA; eight grandchildren, Ali, Abby, Avery, Alex, Emma, Cole, Ralen and Harley; great-grandchildren, Tevin and Natalie; sisters, Rose Turner of Bossier City, LA; Bobbie Lewis and husband, Don of Sarepta, LA; Sandra Modisette and husband, Butch of Shongaloo, LA; brother, Pat Modisette and wife, Myrtis of Sarepta, LA; Larry Modisette and wife, Ruth Ann of Haynesville, LA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Modisette was preceded in death by his parents, ten brothers and six sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Shongaloo, LA with Chaplain Buster Bailey officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
