Son of George Wesley and Ellen (Collier) Shelton. He was a butcher.

Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon for C.O. Shelton, who passed away last Thursday morning at the Maynard hospital. The services were held from the Methodist church, with Rev. Edwin Dover in charge.

Mr. Shelton was born in Marysville, Missouri, Oct. 12, 1972, making him 60 years and 13 days old at the time of his death, which was due to a paralytic stroke. He came west as a young man and for the past 21 years had made his home at Pendroy. Prior to that he was located at Dupuyer.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Charles Jr., and Eddie. Two daughters by a former marriage and a brother also survive him. The daughters are Mrs. Margaret Wormley of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. John Cook of Wilder, Idaho. The brother is James Sheldon of Shelby.
