John Evander Murdock, age 80 of Hendersonville, died Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at his home.
he is survived by his wife, Kate Willis Murdock; 2 daughters, Donna Murdock Godley (Tim), and Darah Murdock Kitts (Dave); 6 grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Katelynn, Morgan, Daniel, and Madison.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 17th, 2017 at Main Street Baptist Church in Hendersonville officiated by the Reverend Dr. John Mason and Reverend Dr. Victor Rampey. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Lily Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Bakersville.
His family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
