WASHOUGAL An evening vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas for Marie "Babe" A. Mack, who died at Southwest Washington Medical Center Saturday, June 25, 1994. She was 88.
Mrs. Mack, born April 29, 1906, in Stickney, S.D., had lived in Washougal since 1930. She was a foreman in the rewinder room at Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal from 1930 to 1947.
She enjoyed ceramics and crocheting and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, Dell, all over the world and had even danced on an airplane while traveling. They were both members of the Happy Rounders Round Dance Club.
Mrs. Mack was a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Catholic Foresters and was one of the original members of the Twin City Saddle Club.
A funeral Mass will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, followed by burial in Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
