This is a photo of my grandmother, Pearl Mae (May) Asbury. It was taken at her home in Charleston, West Virginia some years before her death. I really didn't know her, my parents moved away when I was young but when we visited her she always pinched our cheeks. I remember a very tough, very stubborn woman. She snorted snuff on a flat toothpick and she went to church every Sunday, mother of Delmar, Burton, Earlie and Kenneth. Wife of Andrew.
