Richard Matthew Young, age 52, of Rogersville, went to be with his earthly father and Heavenly father on Thursday, December 8, 2016, following a short illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville. Richie worked at Food City in Rogersville for several years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence W. Young; grandparents, Odus and Nettie Young, W. T. and Elizabeth Dotson; uncles, Melvin Young and Gary Bonnell; nephew, Ryan Young; cousins, Bret Young and Danny Dotson.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Young; brother, Mark Young; nephews, Corey Young and Joshua Young; nieces, Julie Young and Tosha Young; great-nephew, Aiden Young; great-niece, Anna Young; sister-in-law, Lisa Young; several aunts, uncles, and cousins and a host of friends and co workers.
