Sheila Landreth, age 52, of Augusta, Kentucky, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 15, 2017. She was a beloved wife, mommy, grandma, daughter, sister and friend to so many people. She was born July 4, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, although Augusta was her home for most of her life. She resided there with her husband of 31 years, Danny Landreth. She was a graduate of Morehead State University, with a degree in early childhood education, and a retired pre-school teacher of 19 years.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Danny Landreth; her mother and father, Charles and Loretta Gilliam; her children, Justin (Krystal) Gilliam and Matthew Landreth; her grandbabies, Adalen Rose Gilliam, Alaina Grace Gilliam and Karli "Dani" Landreth; and her brother, Chuck (Sherri Nida) Gilliam.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, in Augusta. Bro. Jackie McElfresh will officiate the ceremony. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chuck Gilliam, Daulton Landreth, Daniel Melton, Ryan Childress, Tim Mullins, Chuck Spurlock and Earl Harrison. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
