I do not add obits. There are copyrighted and have living people in them.

I only transfer with the findagrave guidelines. Please send me a suggestion on their memorial page. I will not do it from my message board.

To request a transfer we ask that you contact the manager of the memorial. Go to the memorial in question, click on 'Suggest Edits' and scroll down to the 'Contact Manager' button. Select it and type your message to the memorial manager. Be sure to include your relationship to the person and any other reason for the transfer request. Send yourself a copy of the request by checking the box. This message will be sent to the member, even if there is not an email address listed on their profile.

It is not acceptable to add memorials for people who are living. We understand it can be difficult to determine while transcribing a cemetery. We encourage all contributors to review the dates on the stone (or research otherwise) and try to determine if the individual could reasonably be alive or is deceased. If they could be alive, please don't create a memorial from that name.
