I have been a Family Historian and genealogist since1985 the feelings is almost overwhelming. So many souls to be remember not just looking but putting down on computer for evermore.

My tree on Ancestry is called "Purple Mountains atop the Cumberlands. Oh we all have so many ancestors thru here, most took the Appalachian Trail and getting off is so many millions of people from all walks of life.

They came over on ships, and some came other ways.... I am in awe of what it must have been like. here we are sifting thru all these historical records!

My Tree has 58 thousand, my research done on others also. Am proud of my work and it is with wonderful thought that others, after my passing will be able to carry on my work done here.

The most satisfying, is the fact that, meeting so many people along the way were so inspiring. Their work made mine look small and pale compared to how much their work was. learning from each one along the way.
