A Message To My Wonderful, Faithful, Amazing FindAGrave Friends:

Sorry I have been a hit and miss for the last 3 months on FindAGrave. We have a large family and have been spending time celebrating life's journeys with them. Including Out of State Volleyball Tournaments, multiple College Grads, out of state Bridal Shower & Wedding, etc. However, it is so sad, My dear Grandson, Blake (who should be 30 years old this year, but will always remain 10) will never experience or be a part of that.

My Daughter, Christina, is having a 20 YEAR Remembrance Service including a Butterfly Release at Needham Elementary School in Franklin, Indiana on July 18, 2026 for Her Son, Blake Dickus 1996-2006, age 10 and His Step-Mom, Chynna Dickus 1980-2006, age 26. It can be found on Facebook also!

Known as the Dickus Double Homicide in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana,

Blake Dickus 1996-2006 and His Step-Mom, Chynna Dickus 1980-2006 were Brutally Murdered on the 24th of July 2006 during the DAYTIME! It is UNbelievable that this is a T W E N T Y Y E A R UNsolved Homicide, but it still is.

It would be so awesome if someone would bring an end to this torture of waiting for justice by submitting the information the Franklin Police are waiting for. Blake's Father will always remain a suspect due to being the last one known to be with Blake and Chynna. However, He has been cleared by the Franklin Police and doesn't deserve any unnecessary mean comments by the public. Let's find the real culprit that brutally put an end to Two wonderful people . . . Chynna Dickus and Her Step-son, Blake Dickus only TEN years old and the ONLY Child of His Mother, Christina.

THANK YOU SOOO VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL TOKENS You have Faithfully Left for CHYNNA and BLAKE DICKUS!! The Personal Tokens are so special and bring tears to My eyes as I see them and read the messages. You all have played a big part in My Life the last 20 years, and I couldn't have made it without all the Love and blessings that was sent. God uses You to help others in difficult times, especially grief. May God richly bless each and everyone of You for sharing God's Love with others - after all, that is what Life is all about!!

Lastly, a sincere Thank You to the Franklin Police Department for all the hard work they have done over the last twenty years trying to solve this case. We have always been assured this is NOT a cold case, and they are doing all they can to solve this crime - and We support them. God bless them for risking their lives in their daily work trying to help their fellow man.

My Family is "My Life". I have been blessed by having Grandmas that kept scrap books and picture albums of our ancestors. Those genes must be in me too for I have continued in their footsteps. I am so glad I saved those old time letters (now called snail mail) from my Great Grandma describing the wagon trains and wild west.
