Joined Find A Grave on March 2, 2012...
Born John Holloway on Rocktober 6th in Dallas, Texas. Named after my great grandfather, Marion John Holloway (FaG# 135836353). Lived 2 years on Travis AFB in California (near Oakland) from '68-'70 due to my dad being a Captain in the Air Force, starting his dental internship. In '71, returned to Texas, making our home in Azle where I grew up. Currently in Fort Worth, Texas, since '87...My passion (besides being a grandad) is music (classic rock, blues, metal, jazz, country)...and the ocean with its stunning beaches...My grandkids, playing guitar, bass guitar and drums/percussion keep me young at heart. Also, I'm proud to be a Christian who believes there is a Heaven where my Landen, my dad and others listed below wait for me. As a kid, I always asked my grandparents Katherine Holloway, Marion Loyd Holloway, B. Ozelle Scott and Eldon A. 'Scotty' Scott to stop and let me walk through cemeteries. I could spend the night in a cemetery and sleep comfy....Thank you for dropping by and leaving a touch of love for my Landen and others that rest in peace here.
And lastly, being a multi-instrumentalist myself, I don't know where I'd be without the innovations and inventions of Les Paul, Leo Fender (who never learned to play the guitar), Christian Frederic Martin and Jim Marshall, the Father of Loud...Thank you, eternally, fellas...

20 year-old Michael Stanley 'Mike' Carmen whose murder in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 24, 1976 lead to the creation of 'Crime Stoppers'...and...
9 year old Amber Rene Hagerman whose murder in Arlington, Texas on Jan 15, 1996 lead to the creation of the 'Amber Alert'...I was a Tarrant County Sheriff Dept dispatcher that day when Arlington PD sent out a teletype on Amber as a missing person. I radioed my patrol deputies with the info as I did with every missing person case from our area. Had no idea of the emotions that would forever be in my mind when they found her body. I know Mike and Amber can rest in peace knowing they have saved others, especially children. I thank God that the deaths of Mike and Amber have not been in vain...
