I think this is a way of preseving history, also people's lives are important, and this is a way of honoring and remembering them.

I welcome all corrections and suggestions. I am hesitant to use military prefixes as part of the name unless they were career soldiers. Most people - ( my father included) wished to put that part of their life behind them and hardly ever spoke of the things they witnessed. War is hell. Unless you knew personally that they used the prefix, I will decline the edit. Thanks for understanding.

My pictures and entries are to help others - please use them for your own genealogy. Be sure to click on photos for better resolution. Credit would be nice, but not necessary.

When adding clippings of obits in the photo - please include the name of the publication in the caption, this will help others refind it.

Please when taking photos add the photo to all memorials in the photo, and create memorials if necessary - thanks.

Many (those from the latter half of 2013 forward) of my photos DO contain GPS locations but the info was not uploaded. You can download the photo to obtain that info if you need it. Just look at the properties or file info. Unfortunately some photo editing software has removed some of that info.

Always make sure the memorial you just entered is searchable. -- Thanks, - Also, sideway photos are not good -- please check the orientation - it only takes a minute.

I do occasionally include 'preneed' names - if you'd like it removed - let me know.

I think pet memorials should have the last name of the family that loved them. Will add character to the family, and make them searchable.

When I get the chance, I plan to go back and flower each of my memorials - out of respect....
