**My email address has changed!**

I have been in the curious position of being an American in Australia since 1989. I have a great love for both countries. My accent is a weird mixture of both. I remain a Yank in Oz and an Aussie in the US. At least it's a great conversation starter!

I am married to an interesting and hard-working man, and we have two gorgeous young adult children.

My vocation is education, teaching English to adult migrants and refugees. I get tremendous satisfaction from my work.

My passion is genealogy. I have been researching since 1983, a time when I had to duck secretively into the National Archives in case any of my friends saw me. The stories that I have uncovered, although not all happy ones, have inspired me and made me proud to be connected to the people who have come before me.

I am thrilled to have discovered Find a Grave, as it allows me to memorialise my loved ones and document the lives of other family members for posterity.

I am a strong believer that ordinary people live extraordinary lives. They are far more interesting to me than celebrities.

I have been very moved by the many stories that I have read on here. I enjoy reading a well-written and loving biography, and I admire people for being such a positive influence on those left behind.

Please take the time to check out a few of my loved ones, and flower them if their tales strike a chord. I will try to reciprocate. However, I would ask that you don't put a cross on my Jewish family members' memorials. Thanks for your understanding.
