I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and grew up just east of there in the small town of Murrysville. Through Army, college, and company transfers, I've retired to East Texas, and now to Florida.

I was married to Janet Marie (Vogel) Hartley, and have three children, Tim, Todd and Kari.

My genealogy interests are (Paternal): Hartley, Headlee(ey), Gass (my stone wall), Fordyce, Lemley, Shriver, Barrickman, Jones, Cunningham and Prickett. (Maternal): Green, Knox, Jackson, Scott (England), Heacox, Barton and Hawley.
