12/3/2013 UPDATE: AFTER APPOINTMENTS WITH 4 NEUROLOGISTS SINCE JULY, FROM HOUSTON, DALLAS, OKC AND TULSA, I AM NOW ON WHAT THEY CALL THE LAST MEDICATION THEY HOPE WILL HELP. IT HAS VERY DANGEROUS SIDE EFFECTS, SO MUST BE MONITORED CAREFULLY. THE NEXT STEP WOULD BE SURGERY ON MY BRAIN TO CLIP SOME NERVES...BUT BEING A NURSE FOR 30 YEARS I KNOW HOW COMPLICATED AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS THAT WOULD BE AND THERE IS NO GUARANTEE IT WOULD WORK SO THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE MORE THAN I FEEL I CAN ACCEPT. I ASK AGAIN FOR YOUR PRAYERS, IN THE HOPE THIS MEDICATION MAY BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLLY TREAT THESE HORRIBLE HEADACHES. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TREASURED FRIENDSHIPS! Hello, my name is Jean. I live in Atoka, OK and have lived in OK all my life. I am a retired registered nurse. At the age of 12, I informed my Dad that I wanted to be a nurse and a NUN! Needless to say,GOD and my BAPTIST preacher Dad convinced me that being a nun was not in the cards, but I DID make the nurse part! (I also have a sense of humor.) I am VERY SENTIMENTAL! I have been truly blessed to have had 2 loves in my life. My first love was Benny Joe (BJ) Lewis. We were engaged to be married when he was killed in the war in Vietnam at the too young age of 21. My second love (who had lost a fiancé in a car accident) Donnie Ray (Bo) Horath, was my husband of 38 years when he was taken home to be with our
Heavenly Father on June 20,2005, after an 18 month battle with cancer. The cancer may have taken his body, but his spirit is alive and well in heaven! We are the proud parents of two children, Kevin Don and Jennifer Denise. Our favorite movie is 'Love Story', Bo must have watched it a hundred t
