The year is 2009, I'm 64 years old and we retired almost 3 years ago and moved to the country. About 2 and a half years ago my husband fell and had to have spinal cord surgery and has been recovering ever since. He is still on a walker and doesn't get out much.

The family names in my ancestors include Stone, Smelser, Swank on Mama's side and Singer on Daddy's side.

On Nov. 04, 2008, my only Grandchild, was killed in a single vehicle accident. He was only 16 (would have been 17 on June 17, 2009)and we miss him so much! We released 17 helium balloons on his Birthday and I think we will do the same next year. It is a comfort to us knowing he had accepted Jesus as his Lord & Savior, he is now in paradise and we will see him again when it's time. Praise God!

Volunteering for "Find A Grave" is a good way to get me out of the house. I've always thought it was interesting visiting cemeteries and looking at the old head stones. I am very happy to be able to get pictures for the people who are not able to see them for themselves.
