**My Daughter and Me**

My daughter's birthday is not all her own,

A mother was born mid those tears..

Along with her first breath

Was my first breath as a mom -

By her first birthday we'd shared nearly two years!

My child's Angel Day is not all her own,

Her mother perished mid those tears.

With her final heartbeat my own froze in time,

Unable to live through a mother's worst fears.

Birthday by birthday I still celebrate with love

All the beautiful memories I own

Till my Angel Day comes and I'm laughing

And hugging my baby again and the Sorrow is gone
