Hello my dear friends!

It's with much heartfelt sadness that I report the sudden, unexpected passing of my only sibling, Marymargaret Zakrzewski on August 20, 2025. She passed away peacefully in her sleep as an indirect result of an serious automobile accident two years prior. She was hit from behind at a red light by a box truck that skidded into her in the rain at about 60mph. Though she was wearing her seat belt, she was left in constant pain for the remainder of her life as we tried to find a way to relieve her suffering without spinal surgery, which frightened her. She succumbed to a pulmonary embolism, just as I finally convinced her the week before, to have the operation and get on with her life. We were looking forward to being two crazy old ladies together, embarrassing each other in public and raiding the casinos in Louisiana. But that wasn't meant to be.

I wasn't ready to create her memorial page here, but someone else took the liberty of doing so, quite too soon after her passing, without my knowledge or consent.

So, I have left the page up as a "placeholder" for when I am emotionally ready to complete her page. If you would like to leave a token for "M'mar" (#287762476), I would have no objection and actually, it would be much appreciated. Her favorite flowers were amaryllis & bird of paradise, and she loved animals, especially dogs & cats....and, of course, the casinos.
