UPDATES AS OF AUGUST, 2026

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FG RULES REGARDING PHOTO / IMAGE REPAIR. I am very grateful to see restored images on my pages, but there is a difference between repaired - such as I have had some wonderful Gravers do for me, as I cannot manage it with my vision issues - and full blown SI/AI work that FG will probably catch and pull down, and then we'll both be bummed. If posting an original image print, details and/or comment regarding any restoration update is gratefully welcome. Keep this in mind, Kids - and again, TY to all who do contribute to this site.

Comment: I wanted to note for those FGravers who are interested in documentaries about our military men and women ( as I am, obviously ): There is an astonishing documentary streaming on different platforms, "VIETNAM: 50 Years Remembered." I know that I cannot post a link, but do look it up - it is absolutely a must watch, and yes, a reminder that these men and women continue to deserve to be remembered, thanked and honoured. Every single person who ever put on a uniform for this country, in my personal opinion must NEVER be forgotten. TY.

Hi, hope that all is well with you and yours - just stopping by to post a reminder again that seems to have to be reposted every few months:

If I have sponsored a memorial but do not manage it, I CANNOT EDIT IT IN ANY WAY, NOR ADD OR REMOVE PHOTOS. Technically, I COULD add photos for you, but FG has come down so hard on that due to people submitting copyrighted photos as their own and then I get involved in it - no, sorry. For the editing, you must contact the page MANAGER, and regarding photos, you must contact the individual who posted that photo in the first place. If you are having no luck hearing back from anybody - and in this case, more sympathetic I cannot be, FGers, as it happens to me all the time! -, DIRECTLY CONTACT FIND A GRAVE. I have begun to steer away from sponsoring pages that I do not manage for this exact issue, and yes, it's a shame. Good Luck and TY for trying to accomplish exactly what this site represents - correct and updated information, and routine upkeep of those memorials. Hang in there!

Now...

Most of the previously posted information will remain as is beneath this quick addition, but I did want to stop in and say TY, again to all the FGravers who visit my memorials and leave such wonderful tokens and kind words. Gannon and I continue to have health issues - especially Gannon - which keep us from doing much but keeping the AMA in business (I never want to fill another prescription in my life, but it is a necessary evil, I guess), but I do check in on here, and think of you and yours, often.

I also want to note that while I appreciate the transfer of memorials that you feel may receive a bit more attention under the umbrella of my many virtual cemeteries, please remember that I cannot guarantee any further highlighting of an individual's birthday, Angel Day, etc. I wish that I could, but the time just isn't there, especially when dealing with thousands of names.

Ok, onto the previous reminders - Everybody have a wonderful and safe Summer!

Please stop by and say hi to our little four footer sweetie, Chiquita the Chihuahua - her memorial is #261984201, and she left us on my brother Ron's birthday, 2023. I know that I am not on here much to visit or interact with FGravers, but I do appreciate your thinking of Gannon's and my loved ones...and o, we loved that little dog.

I also want to say TY to every single FGraver who takes the time to send in edits for me, catches typos - my vision issues continue to cause blips such as misspellings, not being able to decipher decades old paperwork/handwriting, etc. Somebody just told me that "Well, I just update the veterans options for you, and let you know if there's a typo - it isn't that much." It IS alot, and I truly do appreciate your kindnesses.

Please contact me through any memorial that l manage by using the edit link, or messages: Yep, I DO report harassment, as well as anybody who for some reason steals a memorial and then - I kid you not - requests that I help them edit it after such an action. ??? So play nice or go elsewhere. TY.

Also... please remember that due to my vision issues, I have assistance with my memorial pages, the text layouts, etc. Therefore, some may cosmetically look different than others - it depends on who is helping me and who is listening to what I suggest, lol. If you catch a mistake or unresolved issue (i.e. if a FGraver hasn't been acknowledged for transfer, contributions, etc.), please let me know that, too, and I'll catch up.

Please note that I will no longer post any images/photos sent to me for memorial pages; TY to FGrave staff for their suggestions and assistance re this issue. If you have a photo or image that you would like posted to one of my memorials, please go through the proper avenues to acquire a FG account, and directly post through your own accounts. For the first time in ten years on here, I am removing images that were verified to me as original/copyright free/etc., and I simply don't have time to verify your sources. If an image, newspaper scan etc. has been removed re FGrave's rules, please feel free to contact me for copies of the ones you need. And remember to not repost them, they are for your personal files, only. TY for understanding.

Please note that I will no longer approve edits regarding immediate family members of mine - I think that it is an abysmal statement on society to have to acknowledge in print that I see no reason to list some personal facts / details regarding my own family. I write openly and extensively enough - all of which can be found on the web, through various journal and magazine sites, and even on Youtube with a few of my pieces being used in art / public reading events - that I find it appalling that there are those who seem to want to go TMZ on here and note suicides and so forth. Please note: When submitting a name and/or memorial page for inclusion to my "Victims of Suicide" cemetery, PLEASE take into the consideration the deceased ones' surviving family and friends. That means to make certain there is no issue with identifying their loved one as a victim of suicide; I try to follow up every name suggested through Faces of Suicide, memorial pages, etc. but some names don't seem to have any detail online. Again, respect the friends and family of a submitted name, and please note sources of info for me. TY.

Aaaand (almost done, I promise): I have had to join the ranks of rule followers regarding memorial transfers, and ask that you refer to the FG rules before asking for bulk transfers/transfers without verifiable connection to the individual, then insulting my dog and my mama when I respond accordingly. The old saying that one person had to bring a problem to the party applies here, and I have found myself in the middle of "I'm an immediate relative. And the memorial that YOU created and then transferred is being held hostage!" (In one case, a military member's page that I created and then transferred under false representation - with over 2000 tokens - had to be deleted so that his own sister could put a page back up. I willingly had the sister's back and we got the first page down and her new one relisted, but she should never have had to resort to such action).

And...Please note that I have begun posting "Information as posted at time of management transfer" on many of my pages; firstly, I do not believe in having a memorial entrusted to me and then the first thing that I do is to strip the previous management's hard work - no, no, no and I don't understand those who DO do that! Secondly, I have no way of knowing the previous management's source of fact/information, and so please don't message me with "This is WRONG, how dare you!" I am presently trying to proof my memorials again, however, while recovering from some health issues; and obviously if I see an error, need for editing and so forth, I WILL do that.

Everybody stay safe and take care of one another - and again, I'm not online much, but Gannon and I do think often of all of our FGraver friends, and we hope that you and yours are happy, healthy and hanging in there - we're all in this together. =)
