Genealogy is the ultimate unsolved puzzle, there's always another thread to pursue on the evolving, widening ancestral spiderweb. I discovered that I dislike the word "unknown" and IMO, no one should have it as a word on their memorial page.

My pursuit down the find a grave rabbit hole started with linking infants and children to their missing families. As a Veteran, I added military unknowns. continually looking for missing dates and families so that our fallen heroes are remembered & reunited, so to speak, with their loved ones.

Some have said Find A Grave is not a genealogy page, maybe…but to my mind, it's about remembering and it's for families. We're building memorial bridges and links for those in the future searching for their past. Lest we forget…
