Bio
Growing up in beautiful Northern California was wonderful. Redwood trees and the mountains . . . exceptional. Northern California will always be home for me.
My ancestors are German, English and Scottish . . . settled in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee . . . all rich in history and waiting for me to discover and share our story.
As I research and discover my ancestors, all who have passed before me, I will honor them on Find-a-Grave . . . keeping their memory alive.

~ The Rememberers
We are the rememberers, the people left behind to keep the one who's gone from us alive in heart and mind; the people left to cherish and preserve a legacy.
Yes, we are the rememberers . . . and we will always be . . .

A flash of golden memories,
from the womb to the tomb,
reflections past to present
preserved for future generations
so as not to be forgotten,
recorded imagery of a time,
stored away for another day,
to be discovered and reminisced
those who knew not the subject
play the game of discovery
to see who had their name,
to study the history,
from whence they came
a visual chronology of family fame,
your own, one day the same,
a loving vision into the past,
maybe some things do last ~Author: Mac McGovern

"It is now night and all is silent. I am here alone and in silence all my past friends with all my relations fall heavy on my mind.
They are all gone, and too must soon follow.
To be laid in the dust in the silent grave and there to be forever forgotten makes the cold chills run over my whole body.
I have a hope beyond the grave.
That hope is that when I am consigned to my grave, someone on the earth might remember me. "
