Hello all! My name is Mary and I live in the beautiful Lowcountry of South Carolina.I am obsessed with genealogy. I have always been interested in the old stories told by family elders but I began to become obsessed when trying to connect the dots. I have been very fortunate to have some amazing family historians that have been working on my Hux/ Hucks sides for years. However, my Phillips and Gatlin lines have all kinds of twists, loops and dead ends that have kept me puzzled for over 20 years.

I also research the Tucker, Cox, Brazier, Langston families. Of course, I have found that I am related to almost the entire Lowcountry of SC and the majority of the Southern States. I often get burnt out and exhausted from the confusing dead ends but I always come back with a passion to see what the next link will tell me. The Phillips brick wall is still on the top of my genealogy wish list!I am a little embarrassed to admit that I have been around for so long but have never really contributed much to Find A Grave. I have the information in many files and I have pictures galore as well. I volunteered and helped many others by sending pictures through the years. I've just never committed to this wonderful project until now. My family cemetery is called by many names. We call it "Johnson's Cemetery" but I've seen it called Wesleyan Methodist, Beaverdam, Community Wesleyan and etc. However, I have family buried in almost every cemetery in Berkeley County.
