I would visit this site and visit family and friends...Little did I know that I would be leaving notes for my son. Joseph was my first born son. He was 22 years "young" when these cowards took his life. He and his friends were playing music, something Joseph loved to do. These cowards started to fight with Joseph and his friends. These cowards got in their car and started ramming Joseph's car and his friends car and tried pushing it off the hillside. When that didnt work they left. Well trying to prevent them from coming back, Joseph went to close this steel gate that led up to where they were. They came back and when they saw Joseph, they rammed the gate which in turn struck Joseph and he was thrown several feet. He was taken to the hospital. He hung on for 2 days, until he was pronounced brain dead on Valentines Day 2007. That was the worst day of my life. Ever since that day, I have never been the same. It's like I died with him, my heart is so broken. Joseph was such a loving Son. He has a younger brother Eddie who is 19 and a younger sister Melanie who is 13. They miss and love him very much and it is so hard for them as well. Joseph was loved by so many and missed by all. I will forever keep his memory alive. Joseph was an organ donor, and saved the life of 5 people. I have yet to meet the recipients, but I know that whoever they are, I wish them a long and healthy life, and They need to know that Joseph was a hero in life as well as his death. The coward responsible for this only got 14 years...which is no where near enough! Where were Joseph's rights on that night...I will never understand. Thank you to everyone who visits Joseph...I appreciate it very much!!
