Shortly after my brother Adam died I was searching the internet for other people who have lost loved ones due to alcohol overdose and I stumbled upon Find A Grave by accident. Find A Grave has been a great way for me celebrate my loved one's lives and it has been the outlet for me to express my feelings. Adam was a great person who could make any one smile or laugh in a second. His life was cut short and was a great tragedy in our family, no one expected his death. He was with friends, out having a good time and had too much to drink. He was later found passed out and dying of alcohol poisoning. There was nothing that could be done, his organs were shutting down. I wish I could go back and change that night, but I know I can't and no matter how much it hurts I know God has his reasons for what happened.

Perhaps you aren't ready yet to have to say goodbye. Perhaps you've thought of things you wish you'd said. Well so have I. For one thing, I have told you not to worry about me. I'm with the Lord in Heaven now; you knew that's where I'd be. I'm sorry that you're feeling sad, for I am so happy now.

I've asked the Lord to ease the hurt and comfort you somehow. It's hard in the beginning, but I know you'll make it through. I hope it helps to know that I'll be waiting here for you.
