Always loved cemeteries & the histories they hold. So glad to have "stumbled" across this site and become a part of the Find A Grave family.Born/raised in Fostoria, Ohio. Interesting town located in 3 counties. Was born at hospital located in Hancock county but lived in Seneca county. Both local cemeteries, Fountain & St. Wendelin, are located in Hancock county.QUOTE: Genealogy without verification is only mythology.PATERNAL names: Doll, Koons, Rife, Caris, Hudson, Turner, Long & Nederhouser in Northern OH, PA, MD & W.VA (was part of VA). MATERNAL names: Clark, Brooks, Thomas from KY, TN, VA and possibly NC. Mom & 2 younger siblings grew up in Jr. O.U.A.M. Orphans Home in Tiffin, OH. KY courthouse burned where their birth records were recorded. However, in later years many records have been restored.Postings are respectfully done with the most honorable intentions.
