Texan Millennial Auntie who spent lots of time with her Grandmother, watched too much true crime too young, and knows a lot of ghost stories. My roots are from homemakers, dirt farmers, educators/scholars, artsy types, tradesmen, veterans, many beloved Black Sheep, and plenty of Misguided Roses. I have lived, loved, and lost in the Lubbock, Amarillo, and Brenham areas, primarily, with family ties all over Texas. My friends and allies were my anchors in life, and I have had many, both lasting and brief.

My username was inspired by my good friend Shawn the Grave Hunter. He and David Sifford were so incredibly helpful and kind to me when I first started using this site to help document my family tree.
