Once upon a time a naive genealogist and avid photographer took to the internet in hopes of finding lost ancestors. Had it not been for the first intrepid volunteers at Find a Grave, I might never have found family memorials and headstone photos. With all the excitement of a kid in a candy store, I promised that I'd pay it forward to other genealogists. These many years later, I'm still drawn to cemeteries - a quest that's taken me to over 10 counties in Texas, and many in my home state of Missouri. I tease about the girl who flew down gravel roads in her red Grand Am, honking at cows and sheep blocking the way. My husband teases that I can't navigate my way out of a paper bag [thank goodness, because this particular genetic defect has allowed me to find hidden cemeteries]. My stories are humorous - the special memories worth every minute.

So ... as long as I have a well-calculated GPS system and a car that can fly - I'll be out there, tracing the call of our ancestors who long to be found. It will be my joy if I'm able to find members of your family.
