Who I am: Just a wallflower from Western Kentucky who love people who passed early and unexpected who want them remembered. I have explored my and extended family trees, on and off, for many years.

Why I'm here: People should be remembered. It saddened me when childless people are lost to time or when people chose to hoard memories of those lost instead of sharing a tale or two so that some little piece of them might linger for everyone to see. I like to assist when I am able.

(note: I am introverted and I keep myself busy. My 'help' is limited to what I have posted, the use of photo for personal use and family records if you wish, and you may find more through Family Search dot Org which is a wonderful resource of information. I also have an account on Ancestry but I do not focus on the accuracy here. )

What I do here: Mostly, lately, not much. I have only just recovered from a fall, surgery, and have a brand new grandbaby which keeps me busy. I have attempted to post family photos, link family accounts, and add pictures to friends that I have lost.

I have taken pictures at a few cemeteries and learned that it's more complicated than it should be if you are not from the area & 'know' the place- which is a real bummer since where my Momma was was 'home' - and being a military spouse kept me states away from where I grew up, I can't imagine living in that place without her.

So I'm unsure if I'll try again... IDK. (Shrugs)

I anticipate that I will add more photos that I have as I have the urge to do so and I will link the people as I can along the way.

What I won't do: I'm not good at email. I'm sorry. There's just tooooo much of it and I just can't find the time for that. Maybe if I had an easier way - via my phone- but this dang thing just doesn't want to cooperate and I'll be blunt, my patience with it- not long. I just as soon do something else.

Apparently, I'm not great at messages on here either. I thought I had it set up where it would show up should someone send me one, but no- I don't suppose I do. I'd blame the application- but I'm certain it's my own lacking and I can't promise checking over here occurs to me all that often. Currently, it's about every 3 months.

Where: Many of my modern people are in and around Western Kentucky & Tennessee.

My husband's modern people came from Texas and Oklahoma.

I have also connected some of my dearest friends families using this application .

I am shy. It's me, not you. Nothing personal. Just me, being the weird wallflower I am, right? It's not that you aren't lovely, it's just that I run on 'overload' with my 'isms.
