I was born in Metairie, Louisiana, in 1980. My paternal roots have strong ties to the Cajuns & Isleños, along with a small peppering of Irish, Filipino, and German. 

My maternal side is mostly of English & Celtic descent.

I was a kinship adoptee, raised by my maternal grandparents; I grew up in Louisiana, West Virginia, and Arkansas.

I now call southern Alabama home.
