Thank you for contacting Find a Grave regarding including obituaries.

We do suggest that members please type out obituary information to be placed in the bio field, remove the names from an obituary of living people (including survivors of the deceased) due to privacy concerns. Include the name of the paper or mortuary and date published.

If someone has posted a photo of an obituary to the photo section you may request removal.

First you should contact the person who uploaded the photo and ask them to remove it. If the member does not respond or remove the photo then please send your request to our photo department.

If a photo is inappropriate/incorrect it can be reported to [email protected] for review. One should provide the reason for removal as well as the link to the photo or the memorial page.
