I know that a few contributors object to this. If you feel strongly that Find a Grave should change their policy, you should contact them. In the meantime, I am offering to remove the photos I've added if a contributor prefers to do it themselves. I'm okay with that. I just want the memorial to have photos of the marker and family plot on them. I don't care who adds them. Please let me know after you have added the photos, and I will remove the photos I added. Please include a memorial ID number. A message left on my profile page is preferred.

When I take photos at cemeteries, I like to take a wide shot, if possible, to include other family members. I usually create a caption for the photo saying who is in the photo. To see the caption, just click on the photo. While transitioning to the new Find a Grave, some captions did not save as expected. Please contact me if you find one that did not save, and I will try to fix it.

I enjoy photographing entire cemeteries, creating new memorials, and adding photos to existing memorials. I try to do a quick search to see if I can document family relationships. Before I go on to the next cemetery, I try to make sure that duplicate memorials have been removed and all memorials are in the correct cemetery (when possible). I also try to add GPS coordinates using the Pin On Map feature developed by Find a Grave.
