I will not accept suggested edits that are not accompanied by the documented source of your information. Information from family trees and word of mouth are not documented sources. US Censuses are not reliable sources for birth dates and do not provide documentation of marriage dates or places. Also, I will not accept 'write-ups' for the BIO that are taken from familysearch.org or Ancestry.com auto generated life histories.

PER FIND A GRAVE: Find A Grave's purpose is to catalog and make available final disposition information. If burial information is UNKNOWN for an individual, Find a Grave is probably NOT the right place for their information. In rare cases, creating a Find A Grave memorial for someone with no burial information may be warranted, these cases should be UNCOMMON.

PLEASE do not post obituaries in the "Flowers" section. Put them in the BIO Information.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERS are not automatically considered veterans as defined by the US Department of Veteran Affairs. Their definition is the one I've chosen to use with my memorials when deciding whether to attach the veteran symbol. Please do not send me a suggested edit if the person does not meet the criteria for veteran status as defined by the US Department of Veteran Affairs.
