I enjoy digging into the history of my family... who they are... why they came... when the came... and making family connections. 3 of my 4 great grandparents are buried in Marquette County, Wisconsin.
The family names of particular interest are Hillmer and Sternweis; Wachholz and Arndt / Wruck; Rataczak and Swiderski / Giertych; and Schanglies and Gomse (spellings of all these names have their variants - which make history all the more interesting!)
