We are still out there fulfilling photo requests…eventually. We will be back in the cemeteries around 3 October.

HEADS-UP: if you have a photo request for San Fernando Cemetery #3 (Roselawn), the office will only give volunteers 5 plot locations per month due to being "short-handed." If possible, please call (210) 432-2364 and get the "section-lot-grave #" location before posting your request. Those with locations will be fulfilled very quickly.

VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: No matter how you are or not related to someone, do not hesitate to ask for a transfer if we created the memorial!!!

Sept 2024: This PSA is only for those that leave thank you in the messages. Please also leave the deceased name. Once we complete the photo request we have no idea who requested the photo.

April 2024: You may notice that we don't have a lot of memorials that we manage. We are always making new memorials and are passionate with this hobby now as we were from day one. Since we are aging (read: old farts) we moved created memorials to other volunteers or to #8.

My husband (USAF retired and USPS retired) and I (WAC & US Army veteran and DoD retired) are now working our third career...Unadulting Retired. Some days are tougher for me because of my Multiple Sclerosis but my husband has been strong for me. You never know where we will travel to next.

Many thanks to those that have asked and allowed us to take pictures of their loved ones. If we are managing a memorial that you would like transferred to you ....just let us know! Memorials should be with loved ones whether they are related or not. All we ask, if transferred, is that you did not request the transfer just to trash the memorial. Now is not the time to vent an old enemy or maybe an ex.

Some photos are harder to read than others due to nature or decorations. We will not rearrange decorations if it is not a request for a headstone. If it is a request, we will try to get a clear shot and then replace the decorations where they were.

We will walk the cemeteries that others won't. Some memorials are hard to find but we will try AND hopefully succeed.

Our pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. You are more than welcome to use the photos we take and we are honored. We take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for our ego or for the "numbers."

No one should EVER be forgotten. What goes around comes around.
