I continue to be surprised by the number of inaccurate edit requests—or requests that significantly alter a memorial—submitted without any supporting documentation. This is why I try to take the time to research almost every submission before approving it.

Going forward, I cannot accept edits that lack credible, verifiable sources. And to clarify, vague codes such as "1921/C/4214" or "1921/C/1278" are not helpful; I have no way of knowing what they mean or where they originate.

It can also be discouraging when newer Find A Grave members behave as though they have all the answers, despite having only recently joined. Many of the memorials they manage were simply transferred to them based on tenuous claims of distant family connections. In contrast, most of the memorials I manage belonged to deceased contributors—not to someone who is a 14th cousin, 30 times removed.

Please refrain from posting biographical information in the flower section, as it becomes buried once more flowers are added.
