Native Western North Carolinian and proud of those roots. My maternal and paternal families were early settlers. My Father was a walking encyclopedia of names and stories. He used many archaic words that I have recorded, so they are not lost to time. How enriching his knowledge is to me now. Thank you Dad.

My strongest roots are in Scotland. I am fiercely proud of my heritage from all ancestors. They are the reason I am here.

DO NOT POST DEATH CERTIFICATES on the memorials of my family. Even if my death is caused by a stubbed toe, if someone adds a death certificate to my memorial; I WILL haunt you with the ferocity of the ghosts in Greyfriars Kirkyard and Edinburgh Castle.
