This site is dedicated to the members of the 17th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteer Infantry (Civil War), which was known as "The Fairfield County Regiment".

Thanks to all the members who have participated by creating memorials, providing information, or taking photographs. Special thanks to members Marsha Mitchell, RobM and the late Charlene Henderson (memorial 244076652) who have contributed immensely to the project, including documentary research, grave searching, photos, correcting errors and great enthusiasm and more.
