-if the memorial photo is sideways click on the photo and rotate it.
-If you want to see a larger photo, click on the image and then click on the view original icon on the bottom right
-almost all of my memorials have a photo. if there is a memorial without a photo, use the suggest edits option and send me a note and I will add the photo.
-To request a memorial transfer or to add additional biographical information, click on the edit tab and suggest a correction.
-If you find a duplicate, click on suggest Edits. Scroll to the bottom and click on report duplicate memorials. Enter the duplicate memorial and findagrave will combine the duplicates. If I delete the duplicate, the system will delete any linked photos.

In Spring 2024, genealogybank.com added The Bridgeport Post and The Bridgeport Telegram from Sept 2, 1947 to 2010 to their newspaper collection. This collection includes more issues and is of better quality than the newspapers.com collection. Use the snipping tool in Windows 11 to convert a snipped obituary to text (OCR).

-Keep in mind that early records were written in cursive and the indexer may have misidentified the name or dates.
-If you are looking for Bridgeport burials by cemetery from 1856 to 1877 look at familysearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS73-LQDS-Q?i=114&cat=564045) burials start at page 115 and go to page 262. The years are not in order.
-Starting in 1889 the Bridgeport death registers note the place of burial.
