Friends,

In January of 2022. I contracted Covid 19 (long) and ended up in a coma. I never thought it would happen to me! Sound familiar??? After about 90+ days and coming dangerously close to death a number of times (Was given a 5% chance of survival at my worst), I finally came home but was still unable to use a number of skills, including typing, walking, and every day actions. It has been a slow return to normal life as one of many things but catching up with Find a Grave is one thing I am determined to do no matter how long it takes! Please pardon my slowness, but especially I want to say thank you to the number of prayers, cards and good wishes I was showered with, and it worked!!! I've always enjoyed this site and learned sooooo much along the way! Unfortunately I also lost my mother and a host of other relatives during this time so it has been extremely difficult but going through it myself has helped me to make peace with it all.

Thanks for understanding! May God bless all of you and please continue to be safe out there!

PLEASE ASK ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO TRANSFER A FRIEND OR RELATIVE. I ALMOST NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEM DOING THIS!

The following poem, which I wrote, has gotten a lot of attention lately from those wishing to share it with others. Please know that I would be honored if you did. You can use my name as author if you like.

THE CEMETERY PHOTOGRAPHER

Wandering among the stones I see

The stones so weathered and worn

'Tis difficult to find the date

On which the babe was born

I stare at the stone and am struck with awe

At the life that I knew was gone

This was someone's child, a babe so sweet

With loved ones to carry on

So I take a photo for all to see

For the family that remains

An everlasting memory of

A child of God's domain

I brush the weeds back from the stone

And say a silent prayer

For the babes that had no chance to live

And for mothers everywhere

The dove calls out it's mourning song

Among the stones so still

Echoes of the woes, through time

The choirs of despair

The stone will someday perish

The flowers will be gone

But a photo now remains of this

Their memory lives on!

And so my friend, don't hesitate

To film the weathered stone

Those who live within your hearts

Are never truly gone

ACCIDENTS SUCH AS DUPES HAPPEN, BUT *PLEASE* MAKE SURE YOU CHECK FOR AN EXISTING MEMORIAL FIRST BEFORE CREATING A NEW ONE! I HAVE HAD TO DELETE A NUMBER OF MY ORIGINAL MEMORIALS BECAUSE OF DUPES THAT WERE CREATED WITH MORE INFO OR PICS AT A LATER DATE. AS I HAVE STATED IN THE PAST, I WILL ALMOST ALWAYS TRANSFER MEMORIALS IF REQUESTED BUT PLEASE, AS A COURTESY, LOOK FOR AN ORIGINAL BEFORE DUPLICATING. THANKS!
