I have been doing Genealogy for 15 years now with great passion. My late sister, Sherrell Sue Stallings Buchanan, was my inspiration & our family historian since 1964. Her memorial # is 258220003 if you would like to leave her a flower.

I am a Trustee for Mount Harmony Cemetery, Sebastian County ARKANSAS near Greenwood. This cemetery celebrates "decoration" every year on the 2nd Saturday of May. May 9th 2026, will mark our 142nd year.

I live in Branson West Missouri and retired after selling my Resort that we had for 22 years. We love Branson. My husband still works part time. He's an actor and plays "the Shepherd" in the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama (going on 65 years now) and he is Santa Claus for Silver Dollar City. Sometimes I am Mrs. Claus too!

My research of my family names: Paternal side (AR, AL, GA, MS, NC, TN, TX and VA) Stallings, McKinney, Fields, Staples, Crow, Carter, Parker, Traylor, Banks, Walker, Upshaw, Bowman, Bradley, Stone, Ford, Beam, Elmore.

Maternal side (AR, IL, IN, KS, MO, OK, NC, TN, VA) Randolph, Cooper, Wilson, Duggar/Dugger, Walls, Lippincott, Bumbalough, Lawson and Rodgers.

My husband's Paternal side is Thompson, Springs, KY, NC and IL, then (Wilson Co, TN ; Saline/Williamson Co, IL) Burnett, Eckols, Felts, Stilley, Swan, Horn, Smiley, Caplinger, Johnston, Farrow, Motsinger (all ILL) His Maternal side is Peterson and Liljendahl in Ishpeming, Marquette Co MI and Burnett County, WI; and Johnson and Larson in Ramsey County, MN, all immigrating from Sweden.

My husband is biologically a "Thompson", not a Winters.
