I love history, particularly family history. I also like to walk through cemeteries reading epitaphs and finding interesting graves. I find it very rewarding to help others in their search for family and would love to help those on this site.
Most of the memorials that I mangage are family members I've discovered in my family history research. Those that are not family are grave sites that I felt compelled to photograph or obits I have come across. I am also drawn to graves of people who died pre-1910 and I want to be sure that they are recorded before their graves fall in to total oblivion.
Please feel free to use any of the photos I've taken. They do not belong to me, but to those who love the dearly departed.
Please let me know if I have added someone that is in your family. It is not my intent to offend or trespass on other's loved ones.
All memorials are added to honor those who have gone before us and to serve as a resource for future generations in their search of family history.
