In my journey to improve the memorials I have, I also occasionally find additional information for family members and I share that information. When I tell you what county, state, and country an individual died in and you decline my suggestion, then add a city and the information I sent you, you're really showing who you are.

Declining my suggestion to correct the spelling of the last name that's on the grave marker, obituary, and all documents takes a room temp. IQ.

I'm looking for homes for these memorials I've accepted.

Once I get your deliberate duplicate merged into a memorial I've got, I won't be transferring it to you.

I'm working on a couple of projects for my fallen graver friends. I welcome any additional information from fellow researchers and please let me know if you would like any of these memorials. I transfer to folks who seem sincerely interested in their family & friend's memorial.

I want to thank the photographers out there that are putting nice, readable headstone photos on memorials that don't have any yet, so the rest of us can sit on the couch and 'visit' our relatives. You others that are slapping blurry, angled, tiny photos on top of perfectly good photos are just embarrassing yourselves.

Thank you to the thoughtful folks putting images of old, interesting documents, etc. on my relatives' memorials so I can enjoy them for free.

I follow the accepted standard of putting rank as title in the prefix box if the servicemember retired from the military with that rank or died holding the rank while in active service

I don't link to "Burial Unknown". I'm happy to put the names of the parents or spouse in the bio section, send me that information in a suggestion.

I don't, knowingly, put the names of living people on memorials. If you see something I missed, please let me know so I can delete it.

I like to look up additional info. for other people's memorials. More folks should hop off the 'flower' button and hop on a death index or the census, and send some edit's, to actually improve more memorials on the site. Having dropped over 300,000 flowers on memorials, but not contributing to any is not a flex.

You want to acknowledge all the marriages, but you don't want a horrible looking memorial with 6 last names crammed into the maiden and/or last name space.

Find A Grave suggests;

The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' space is only for her maiden name.

Hint-men don't have maiden names.

There is no greater dishonor than to bury a victim with their killer.
